What is Flexible Dieting & Macronutrients & Why We Prefer This Approach
Flexible dieting or IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) is the tracking of your daily caloric intake through carbs, fats, and proteins, to achieve your desired goal. Macronutrients serve as the foundation of our nutrition program and are what provides the body with energy.
What Are Macros?
Carbs are the body’s preferred source of energy
Fats are important for bodily functions. They serve as the most dense source of energy
Proteins are the building blocks of the body. They are essential for growth and repair.
We choose to use the IIFYM method because it allows us to customize each program to the individual. Macro tracking provides the opportunity to create a healthy, long term lifestyle change. WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start your custom nutrition program, you will meet one-on-one for a free consultation with one of our coaches. Once committed, we will provide you with a questionnaire. This will highlight the important information and details needed to develop your personalized program.
Following the receipt of your program, you will work one-on-one with your coach week to week. You will be held accountable throughout the entire duration of your program. Clients saw continued success as a result of strong communication, including weekly check-ins and updates.
Our coaches will provide the materials and tools to teach you how to confidently track macronutrients. You will learn and understand nutritional concepts and then apply these concepts to everyday life.
