Group Fitness Member of the Month: Sheryl!
Congratulations to our Group Fitness Member of the Month, Sheryl!
I became a member in July of 2022. My husband John, as well as my children, made the switch to Jada as well. We are all very happy with everything about the gym! It’s an added bonus that we get to support local business owners as well!!
MY GOALS & BECOMING A GROUP FITNESS MEMBER:
My goals were, and are, to be a healthier me. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day of life, work, and family and neglect making important time for yourself. Of course losing weight and getting toned are always a desire as well!
I have taken a couple of the classes at Jada and really enjoy the Blitz Strength classes & Blitz Strength & Cardio classes. Personally, I love taking Group Fitness Classes because I love that I don’t have to think. I know that the instructor is doing the thinking and planning for us and I trust that I am getting a full body work out!
Matt is an awesome addition to the Jada family! I love how encouraging he is in each class! The fact that he calls us out by name when we are doing something good shows that he really cares! Matt always has a smile on his face and enthusiasm in his voice. He really wants everyone to have a great experience!
Something I’ve taken away from my experience in these classes is to not be afraid that you “can’t or you won’t be able to keep up”. The instructors do a fantastic job demonstrating different ways of doing each exercise, allowing each member to work at his or her capacity.
ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING A GROUP FITNESS CLASS:
TRY IT! In addition to the things I’ve previously mentioned, it has been an added bonus to meet so many new people! I love the friendships I have made so far and am looking forward to the ones I will continue to make!!
MEET MATT, GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AT JADA BLITZ FITNESS
Sheryl has been one of my regulars since I first started teaching at Jada. She’s here almost every single day taking some sort of class, which really shows her dedication and commitment. I’m sure she’s been taking classes here long before I even showed up; her consistency is admirable.
Sheryl’s glowing personality is definitely what makes her stand out the most. She is always smiling, laughing, and having a good time in class while getting her workout in. Her positivity and happiness is contagious! She has made many friends in the room and I’m sure she’s one of the primary sources of the positive energy that’s displayed throughout the class.
I chose Sheryl as Group Fitness Member of the Month because she’s definitely made improvements, not only in going for the heavier weights, but also in how she listens to my explanations on breakdown of each exercise. This has allowed her to execute correctly.
