Get Ready to Crush It with Core Nutritionals
If you’ve been in the gym over the past week, you’ve likely noticed the variety of new, black-with- shiny-label containers filling the red cubes in the standing carts to the left of the door. Consider those containers our new baby—or Core Nutritionals premium supplement line. Jada Blitz Training is proud to be the only gym in the region offering these high-end products to its customers.
Core Nutritionals is headed by drug-free pro bodybuilder Doug Miller, and his wife, drug-free pro figure competitor Stephanie Miller. Simply put, Doug and Stephanie were sick of the supplements that “didn’t work,” so Doug decided to design his own superior line that is proven to show results. With the CRUSH IT® mentality in mind, Core Nutritionals is designed by champions for champions and will push any athlete, competitor, bodybuilder or even just everyday weight lifter or runner beyond his/her limits.
While Jada doesn’t carry ALL of Core’s products, we are proud to carry a diverse list. Here’s a bit about a select few products we carry:
When you train hard, your body goes through a period of protein degradation, which is the breakdown of muscle protein, and in turn, your amino acid supply depletes.
In Justin Draper’s opinion, whey protein isolate is the best form of protein post-workout because it’s rapidly digested and that quickly increases the available pool of amino acids needed to ensure that the switch between protein degradation to synthesis is as beneficial as possible. After a period of intense exercise training, we want this condition to arise immediately, and shuttle a pool of amino acids, in particular leucine to the muscles for recovery. Core Iso has all the necessary ingredients to do this, while keeping true to its pure, artificial colors and sugar-free, GMO and soy-free stance.
Diet is a major component in maintaining a fit figure, however we all know that sustaining a perfectly balanced diet every day is not an easy task or always feasible. That’s where Core MRP comes into play.
Core MRP is not only designed with optimal nutrients (macro and micro) in mind, but perhaps more importantly, it’s designed to fit in your life, not run it.
Core MRP uses a grain-sourced carbohydrate that stems from oats and barley flour, which are two low-glycemic food sources. The result is that low glycemic carbohydrates, as research indicates, not only cause enhanced fat oxidation (the literal burning of fat) when compared to high GI carbs, but also spare muscle glycogen. This result is the best of both worlds: your metabolic engine stays engaged, and the substance that gives your muscles their fullness (glycogen) is spared.
Since MRP is a meal replacement, there is also a nice blend of three different protein types to sustain you throughout the day: cold-processed, undenatured whey protein concentrate, cross-flow microfiltered whey protein isolate along with a serving of micellar casein as well.
This product is a non-stimulant pre-workout vascodilator and performance optimizer. This product is caffeine-free but has every ingredient needed to experience the “PUMP,” or high energy effect during a workout because it incorporates a mix of amino acids—agmatine sulfate, l- citrulline, hydromax, nitrosigine—along with vitamin c (helping to remove free radicals from the body following a workout) which work together to increase blood flow and enhance your workout.
This is an extreme pre- workout amplifier that won’t leave you with the jitters. It can be taken on its own 15 minutes before a workout or combined with Core Pump and/or ABC.
Core Fury helps maximize performance by increasing force output, enhancing repetitions, increasing aerobic and anaerobic performance and boosting endurance. Unlike Core Pump, Fury contains 1, 3, 7-trimethylxanthine (caffeine) and Theobromine (3, 7-dimethyl-1H-purine-2, 6-dione) 99%. Caffeine has been shown to have significant effects on exercise performance and fat oxidation. It forces your body to use fat tissue as a fuel source while sparing the glycogen.
Core Fury has been formulated with clinical serving sizes, in a non-proprietary blend, that was made to be the single-most effective pre-workout supplement on the market.
Taking a high purity fish oil, such as Core Omega, has many benefits for optimizing overall health. Fish oil should be a part of everyone’s daily diet because it plays a key role in memory and heart and joint health amongst others.
Some avoid fish oils because of the smell or taste, however Core Omega eliminates that foul smell/taste by using a fish oil manufacturer that produces its fish oils under the nitrogen barrier – a manufacturing technique that greatly reduces the chance for oxidation, by forming a barrier over the oil as soon as it’s processed and produced. This nitrogen barrier significantly expands the product’s shelf life and potency.
Fish oil has been proven to help with body composition, muscle metabolism, bones, weight loss, skin care, ect. Most of the health benefits are attributed to the presence of omega 3 essential (your body does not make these itself) fatty acids.
With a healthy balance of caffeine and BCAA’s ABCD is an energy product, an endurance product and a complete amino acid product all in one.
Core ABCD can be consumed in place of your morning coffee, before a workout, or if you are in need of an afternoon pick-me-up. Some of our clients have also consumed this before their cardio sessions.
There are three major branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) and collectively, they help restore your muscles after a workout session. Leucine, isoleucine, and valine are famous for their role in skeletal muscle protein synthesis and metabolism, and additionally comprise approximately one-third of all skeletal muscle protein. Of the three, leucine is both the most physiologically important with respect to muscle mass, and the most extensively studied.
Core ABCD will wake you up when you need it but also reduce muscle recovery time between workouts, enhance your day or workout routine and increase lean body mass when paired with proper diet and exercise.
Core ABC stands for aminos, beta alanine, citrulline malate. These key ingredients help with reducing total muscle soreness after intense training, decrease muscle recovery time after a tough workout and increase lean body mass when used daily with exercise and proper diet. ABC is different than ABCD because it doesn’t contain caffeine or l- carnitine (helps with energy production amongst other things).
ABC can be consumed at any given time, where as ABCD should be limited due to its caffeine content.
And now for Justin’s favorite:
If there were one supplement that I couldn’t live without, it would be Core ABC. It has helped me recover from workouts throughout my career and has allowed me to then push harder the next day at the gym.
