Congratulations to our Client of the Week, Shannon!
I have been at Jada Blitz for 2 years now. My fitness journey began mostly with cardio and HIIT style workouts, but I hit a plateau with progress and wanted to look and feel best for my wedding. I also was at a period in my life where I began grad school and a new career, so I was looking for an outlet for stress. The sense of community, welcoming atmosphere, and the group fitness schedule at Jada Blitz is what attracted me to this gym.
MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT
Originally, my goals were to reduce stress as I prepared for my wedding. Now my goals are to maintain a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically.
I love working with Liv because we focus on health, and not just inside the gym during our sessions. With her passion for health and wellness and knowledge of nutrition, she has helped me in more ways I can count and I’ve never felt better. I have noticed more energy, and less mental fog since working with Liv. She listens to my goals and alters my routine to be individualized to my needs and how I am feeling. Each session is different and my workouts are constantly evolving. I was reluctant to start weight training but she explains the rationale and benefits behind each movement and now I really enjoy it.
One thing I’ve learned from this experience is to remain consistent with a routine and listen to your body. Rest days are just as important to refuel!
ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING PERSONAL TRAINING
You won’t regret it! The staff makes your goals their goals and will support you to become the best version of yourself.
THE FACILITY & STAFF
My experience with the staff has been rewarding and fulfilling. Everyone is welcoming and willing to assist you in whatever way you need to. Some days I need to get out energy and will take a cycle class with Brandi, other days when I need to rest and recharge, I will book a yoga class or stretch and meditate in the sauna. I also love ending a workout with a protein shake at the shake bar!
