Tell us about your journey at Jada Blitz

I started training with Anthony in June of 2017 (almost 4 years ago) and immediately knew that I never wanted a different trainer. Originally when Anthony and I started training together, we were both at a different facility, but after 2 years of training together he made the move over to Jada Blitz, and let me just say tears were shed. Fast forward two months later, and I texted him saying that my training contract at the other gym was over and I wanted to train with him again, and I’ve been at Jada ever since. When I first started training, I was only doing once-a-week sessions, but recently I have moved into doing twice-a-week. I start my week with training and I end my week with training; on top of my weekly Jada nutrition coaching call.

What results and progress have you made?

For the year 2021, my goal is to beat the boys; meaning that aside from wanting to be strong, lean, and tone-I want to be a role model for other women who think that lifting weight is going to make you bulky. I also want to be able to do an unassisted pull-up and chin-up, as well as to overall feel more confident in my own skin.

While training with Anthony we have made a lot of progress over the almost 4 years we’ve been training together. He fixed my squatting form and position, as well as increased my lower back strength, so now when we train legs together I can hit a new PR almost every week. Last week I hit a new PR of 155 for 3 reps! We also have been working on and upper body strength through bench pressing and handstand holds against the wall, recently I hit a new bench PR of 110 for 6!

Aside from fitness and strength, last month, right before the holidays, I joined the nutrition program at Jada Blitz and was partnered with Aubree. So far, she has helped me learn more about the types of foods that are best for my pre-workout meal, and numerically where the numbers should be for my daily total, pre-workout, and every meal in between.

What is your biggest takeaway from training?

My biggest takeaway from training is accountability, focus, and community. I chose to go into a training program because I wanted to make positive changes to my life, and needed someone to teach me how to do exercises correctly, as well as push me over my comfort zone. Anthony does this every time we train, he knows that I want to work as hard as I can when we’re together and me gets me out of my head and doing the exercise to my best ability.

When I first made the move over to Jada, the new facility wasn’t even built yet and I was very nervous to be in the building just for training. However, knowing Anthony was going to be there made me feel more comfortable and confident. He introduced me to many of the other trainers, and I became a well-known client in the gym.

What do you love most about your trainer and facility?

Throughout the years he’s been by my side through so many different challenges and praises, and I’m so blessed and thankful to have the ability to work with him every week. Words cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for having him be apart of my fitness and lifestyle journey.

When you walk into Jada Blitz the first thing you’ll notice is the mannerisms of the employees and trainers-everyone is very kind, friendly, helpful, and polite. No matter what you’re doing you can always ask for help with unracking weights, needing a spot, or simply asking about what else the facility offers.

Renee, thank you for being part of our family! We are so proud of you.
