Client of The Week: Meet AMY!

 In Client of the Week

Congratulations to our Client of the Week, Amy!

I joined Jada Blitz in March of 2020. I was looking for a gym that would better suit my needs to start strength training. Before, I was going to your typical run of the mill gym where staff isn’t knowledgable or helpful. I started to become bored doing cardio and wanted more of a challenge by adding in weights.

BECOMING PART OF THE JADA BLITZ FAMILY

I knew another member, at the gym. He had an amazing transformation! I remember my first day I met with Will and as he showed me around the gym I was very intimidated. I wasn’t sure it was going to be the best fit for me but took the leap and joined that day and signed up for PT with Will. Joining has been one of the best choices I have every made in my life!

MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT

The only goals I have set for myself are to gain the strength to be able to compete in a powerlifting competition by the following year, I am on my way to accomplish that by the end of this year. I have gained more muscle and losing inches too! I know in time, I will get to where I want to be. All good things come in time!

It’s truly amazing how far I have come working with Will three times a week since the middle or March. My goal was to gain muscle and strength and push my body as much as I can. I remember us laughing when I first started training, I was barely able to squat, bench or deadlift any weight. I have come a long way in the past 5 months and looking forward to starting my training to attend my first powerlifting competition!

Will is an amazing trainer. He pushes me at every session till the point of failure. When he knows I am close to failure he will push me harder for he knows I won’t give up. Will is always explaining the workout prior to doing it, and showing me the correct form. He has helped me out tremendously with nutrition and explaining how I am was not eating enough which I now know was hurting me more than helping. He is very knowledgable in every aspect of my training. I tell everyone he is my drill sergeant! He pushes and motivates me on those days I don’t think I can do it. There are times, especially leg day, where I am ready to stop and when he notices this he will push me to finish. He is an amazing motivator and trainer.

I have learned so much from Will, I didn’t know hardly anything walking in that day in March. I learned that the form that I thought was correct was actually not. One of the most valuable lessons is to make sure I go in the sauna 10 minutes prior to leg day. Those 10 minutes in the sauna allow me to push my body even more on those tough days.

THE FACILITY & STAFF

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is not the typical run of the mill gym where they could care less about you. The staff knows who you are when you walk through the door.

MEET WILL SMITH, CPT AT JADA BLITZ FITNESS

Amy and I have been training for about 5 months and I have nothing but positive memories with Amy. She knows what it takes to reach a goal, and puts in everything she has got and more. Every session is full of energy, and we are on track to helping her try powerlifting in the future which I love to help her do. We have been able to triple the weight she started at with most services through our short time together, and are only looking ahead as we hit new personal goals.

My favorite memory of Amy and I is during our leg day sessions. Although they are her least favorite, she does not quit and always ends with a smile on her face. We have been able to develop her squat from 45lbs to 145lbs which has been an amazing accomplishment together.

Amy is one of the most resilient, hardworking, and determined clients I have ever had the pleasure of training. Whether it is our physical training, the warm ups beforehand, nutrition or even as simple as what she can work on in her free time, if I suggest it, she does it. She understands that she can’t put in half of her focus and get the full results which is phenomenal to work with.
