Client of The Week: Maddie!
Congratulations to our Client of the Week, Maddie!
I originally came to Jada Blitz one year ago after hearing encouraging and positive reviews about the welcoming atmosphere from friends and neighbors. After a debilitating medical accident in 2017, I knew I had a long road ahead. Having previously been in competition-level athletic activities, it was apparent how life-changing my next few years were going to be. I found it particularly challenging to be a young person in need of rehabilitative exercise.
MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT
Because of my age, fitness professionals often assume I am looking for intensive cardio and strength training, when really my needs were now more specific and at a beginner level.
My trainer, Trey, is someone that can lift you up and share a laugh even on the toughest and most challenging days. The best thing about Trey is that he can think outside the box and come up with creative exercises and training ideas. Trey’s love of research and learning means that he puts in the extra effort to understand his clients and their daily life goals. His unique perspectives bring a lot to training sessions, and I have enjoyed exchanging documentary and book titles, as well as discussing our shared interests in health, wellness, and cooking.
I have learned that it’s normal to experience setbacks, as making real progress takes dedication, hard work, and most importantly, time. After a year, I continue to look forward to my sessions with Trey.
ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING PERSONAL TRAINING
My advice for anyone looking to begin a training regimen is to be honest and upfront with your challenges and goals, as this will allow for the Jada Blitz team to pair you with the exact trainer that can meet your needs.
