Client of The Week: Leah!
Congratulations to our Client of the Week, Leah!
I knew for some time that my weight and eating habits were spiraling out of control, and I needed to regain control. I also felt depressed, and my hope was that by taking better care of myself physically, that it would benefit me mentally as well.
MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT
Anthony and I are focusing primarily on strength training. This is helping me to build muscle and give my metabolism the boost it needs for me to burn more calories.
I enjoy working with Anthony for a few different reasons:1) His emphasis on proper form2) He finds the perfect balance of how hard to push or challenge me. He doesn’t let me get comfortable setting the equipment at the same weight each week. He increases the weight when he knows I can handle it, but clearly knows when to step in and offer support if I might need it. He just intuitively knows.
One thing I’ve learned through personal training is that things aren’t always going to be perfect; show up anyway and do the best you can. I sprained my ankle 3 days before my first session with Anthony and briefly contemplated delaying my training, but I showed up anyway and we focused on upper body until I could put more weight on the ankle joint. Sometimes you’re tired and have had a rough day at work; show up anyway.
ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING PERSONAL TRAINING
If you are thinking about trying personal training and/or the gym, do not hesitate. We spend time and money on a lot of things over the course of our lives – fancy dinners, clothes, beauty treatments, toys like ATVs and snowmobiles – but nothing is as important as your health. Invest in yourself.
THE FACILITY & STAFF
Everyone at Jada Blitz has been super friendly and welcoming!

MEET ANTHONY CECERE, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PERSONAL TRAINING AT JADA BLITZ FITNESS
Training with Leah is a great time, she always shows up and pushes her limits to achieve her goals. I always have fun while training Leah, from her giving it her all to us laughing and joking in between sets- even though she hates how I count.
One of my favorite moments is when we found out she was down 20 pounds! Another good memory is when Leah told me that she ran over a mile without stopping. She was really impressed because she didn’t know that resistance training would improve her cardiovascular system to help her running!
