Client of the Week – Chris

I sought nutritional guidance because I just felt stagnant and limited in what I could do on my own. I know that I respond to being held accountable by someone else, WAY more than I do by myself, so knowing someone was going to monitor me was huge. I’ve worked in the fitness industry for the past half decade and been surrounded by trainers and nutritionists most of that time. I would get “tips” and such from people but, because it was a place where I was an authority of sorts, I never engaged fully in a program with anyone. I finally decided to reach out to a gym where I could be seen completely as a client.

I chose Jada Blitz through the referral of Liz Vetrano, a current Jada employee. I was aware of Jada Blitz, and had seen some online content I liked. When Liz was hired there, I knew I could see if it lived up to the hype. She told me it did, and I went with it. My short term goals were lower body fat percentage, and to do so by challenging myself in a way I never had before. My long term goal was to fall back in love with fitness (by getting results I never had before.)

At this point in my program, about 3 and a half months in, I have lost a total of 18 lbs and lowered my body fat from about 15% to 8%. Even though we have been consistently cutting back on macros as we progress, my strength training has increased. It’s been very interesting to see how my body performs and responds to various changes to what I’m eating. I’ve grown to love the “day in, day out” work of it all because there’s nothing better than seeing a number drop, or hitting at new PR in a lift, and knowing you got there the right way. I’m extremely happy with my results so far, and plan to work with Justin for various new goals in coming months.
