Congratulations to our Client of the Week, Chris!

I have been a Jada Blitz member since 2019, when Jada was located at the old building. My mother and twin brother were members and brought me along with them one day. However, what interested me in becoming a member was the inclusive environment and the supportive attitude the trainers had with helping me meet my goals.

MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT

My initial goal was to add 20 pounds of muscle onto my frame, and yes I have completed my first goal! Now, maintaining my present level of health, fitness, and energy, as well as maintaining my existing form and body, is my current goal. Possibly lose a little belly fat and tone up a little more would be nice too.

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Adam! Before I transitioned to working with Adam, I worked with a trainer (Reilly) for two years until he left to become a Buffalo Cop. But my experiences with both Adam and Reilly have primarily been the reason why I have stayed as long as I have. Adam and I discuss my expectations, set in motion goals, diet recommendations, rigorous training, and it’s up to me to follow through and fulfill my training goals.

Adam’s passion and inspiration in helping me internalize my goals and achieve them is what I appreciate most about working with him. Adam is a huge advocate of a healthy lifestyle and is always encouraging me to work hard, eat well, stay focused, and have fun while doing it. It doesn’t matter how long we talk about the weather in Buffalo, or how much time we spend ranting about sports or NFTs; I am still training hard and being disciplined.

One memory I have working with Adam was when he was training my twin brother and I was training with Reilly, and we all decided to have a friendly competition for the entire session. It was really challenging and I almost passed out. That said, it was one of the greatest, most enjoyable, and unforgettable moments I’ve had at Jada Blitz.

ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING PERSONAL TRAINING

One valuable lesson I have taken from Jada Blitz and my trainer Adam, is that no matter what, don’t stop training and lifting those damn weights! No matter how heavy or impossible it may seem, just keep pushing yourself! My advice would be to just give it a try. For those who don’t like the idea of working out with a personal trainer, I’m here to tell you it’s actually less awkward than working out with your buddies. Trainers are certified, knowledgeable, and can help you design an exercise and diet plan that will help you achieve your goals. Not only do I not have to worry about what exercises to perform each day, but Adam’s instruction, encouragement, and experience ensure that each activity is executed flawlessly.


THE FACILITY & STAFF

The Jada Blitz Staff have exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff is always friendly, courteous, respectful, and eager to assist you in any way they can.

MEET ADAM GUTIERREZ, CPT AT JADA BLITZ FITNESS

Chris and I have been training for a few years now. It all started when Chris and his brother Collin would come to the gym together. One of the past trainers would train Chris and I would train Collin. It was great, sometimes we would train them together and have a little brotherly competition. Our other trainer left and Chris became my client! What’s great about Chris is that he shows up every week ready to work! His drive is to want to do better!

One memory that really sticks out is back at our old facility Chris was pushing the sled one time across the turf. He was working so hard he ran right out of his shoes and continued to push that sled! We get along great because we share a lot of the same interests in and outside the gym!
