Client of The Month: Cynthia!

 In Client of the Week

Congratulations to our Client of the Month, Cynthia!

I’ve been working with Whitney since January. I came to Jada Blitz with a friend who was already a client. I had a complimentary training session and was instantly hooked.

MY GOALS & BECOMING A PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT

I am 63 years old and have been working out in a gym since my early 20s. Recently, I had taken a 6-month break so my initial goal was to regain my lost muscle & mobility. My current goal is to exceed that and build up my damaged shoulder plus, work on my core and my balance.

It’s been a joy working with Whitney. We’re a great fit. I’m fairly self motivated but she pushes me just the right amount, which is crucial. She encourages me to do my best.

Whitney expects a lot out of me even though I’m a woman “of a certain age.” I appreciate it immensely that she doesn’t treat me like an old lady.

One thing I’ve taken away from my personal training experience is to always give something new a try, whether it’s a new routine or higher weight. Push yourself with new challenges, you’ll be amazed what you’re capable of.

ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING PERSONAL TRAINING

My advice is don’t be afraid to fail because you just might surprise yourself (which is usually the case for myself). If someone is thinking of joining, I recommend not putting it off. Only you can invest in the most important thing ever- improved health & happiness received from consistent workouts.

THE FACILITY & STAFF

The rest of the staff have also been friendly and welcoming.

FITNESS IS UNDEFINED. WHAT’S YOUR FIT?

MY version of fitness having enough energy to live my busy life and having easy mobility at my age while living with a body full of arthritis, even needing a knee and shoulder replacement.

MEET WHITNEY GOSSEL, CPT AT JADA BLITZ FITNESS

Cynthia and I started training together about 6 months ago. Her goals have been to get stronger, move better, and build muscle. Every single session, she has put in the work and has made substantial progress towards each of these goals!

Cynthia is such a hard worker! I know that she will always give it her all! Cynthia is interested in understanding the “why” behind the exercises or particular technique. Her attentiveness to form and her interest in understanding the process makes her very fun to work with!

Cynthia has made some major strength gains, especially in her lower body. She has gained confidence in single leg exercises, and even more importantly has progressed those movements without pain.
